About Us
Ash was started in 2012 by Jenny and Ian after they were left a number of elderly horses.
Ian is an Equine Podiatrist and Jenny has many years of experience with horses as well as being a trained Equine Herbalist.
Over the years they have turned their land into a wildlife heaven using the horses as conservation grazers and allowing these older rescue horses a chance to enjoy thier final years in mixed herds with access to many healing wild plants and to have the space to roam.
Ash is run by a brilliant team of volunteers, from our Events, Fundraising, Admin, and Shop helpers to our Horses and Wildlife volunteers who are out in all weathers and give our animals the best love and care.
Ash is also grateful to its Trustees who help to oversee the Charity's future.
