ASH is fully committed to improving the welfare and survival rate of Devons wildlife.
By working closely with local vets, the RSPCA, other wildlife rescues and the community, the centre receives and rehabilitates a wide range of injured and sick wild animals. With a great deal of individual care and attention these animals are able to regain their health and strength enough to be released back into their natural habitats and homes again.
In 2023 we looked after over 400 Gull chicks, 2 Tawny Owls, 6 Buzzards, 1 Kestrel, 3 Sparrow Hawks, 7 Swans, 4 Guillemots, 2 Gannets, 1 Cormorant, 4 Roe Deer, a Hare and a Fox.
All of your generous donations give ASH the ability to provide these wild animals with specialist food, medication, beddings and safe, warm spaces to allow them to recuperate.
Once our new facilities have been built, we will be able to admit and support many more wild animals that are struggling to survive, which will be fantastic news for Devons wildlife population.
