A Unique Setting

Step through the Peacock Gate to discover a magical outdoor licensed venue with secret gardens, ponds, a seated fire pit area, and wildflower meadows. We have a large parking area, a beautiful marquee field with stunning views of the Devon countryside and camping areas available.

Whether it’s a wedding, a wake, or a charity event, we’ll help you make your event special.
All the events help us to fund the care and needs of our resident horses, rescued wildlife and further conservation activities.

 

Our Ethos

Our mission to care for and improve our natural environment and its inhabitants is the thread that runs through everything that we do at Ash, including our weddings and events.

We carefully think through every event to ensure minimal disturbance to the land and wildlife by considerate planning of vehicle and people traffic.

Specific areas of our site are set aside purely for wildlife and are not accessible for vehicles, visitors or dogs.

We also strive to source local suppliers and form partnerships with individuals and groups who share our ethos, working together to provide ethically grown, local produce with minimal environmental impact, keeping food and flower miles to a minimum.

We work hard to minimise waste ending up in landfills, focus on reducing single-use plastic at all our events and provide recycling points that are checked and taken care of by our own team.
