Tamar

Tamar (Miss Patchwork) is a 15.3hh 22 yo (2002) TB mare

Tamar is a retired Racehorse who came to us with her best friend Monty through the Mare and Foal Sanctuary.

Tamar was only raced for a short time as she was very nervous and would rear.  She injured her back and was not able to be ridden so was used as a companion mare.

Tamar is still very nervous, she can be hard to catch or rug but is getting better.  She was worried about being in a herd to begin with but has settled really well and now gets on with all the horses well.
